I have being trying to spend as much time as i can to increase my collections. I am although such a slow worker which makes it really frustrating, but so long as i am happy with it when completed every minute will be worth it.

  1. Hi,
I absolutely love images 4 and 6 from this post! Where do you study? I read that you are graduating this year, do you have any ideas what you are wanting to do after you graduate?

    1. Hi Nicole, sorry for the late reply i only just seen your comment. Thanks for your comment. :) Yea i graduate this year. I'm really excited. I study at the University of Bolton and at this moment in time i am still unsure what i want to do when finished. I like the idea of designing for wallpaper or giftware and stationary, or i also quite like the idea of perhaps going into visual merchandising. I'm Just going to keep my options open and apply for as much as possible in the areas i like. Are you enjoying your course? it has the same title as mine, Surface/Texture Design, so i'd imagine it is quite similar.

    2. Hi Rebecca. Yeah I'm studying the same course at Cleveland College of Art and Design. Yeah I'm absolutely loving it! I just got back from Paris a week ago. I was working on our college stand at Indigo. Have you done many placements through uni?

    3. Hi, I haven't yet been on any work placements, but i have won a competition with Hallmark, which enables me to go on placement for two weeks and i also have a placement with Graham & Brown Wallpaper coming up. I have tried to plan them for when i have finished Uni. :) That sound's great. What an experience! We went to New York in our first year that was amazing but i haven't been to paris, Indigo yet. Have you managed to fit any work placements in?

    4. Wow thats amazing about winning the Hallmark placement. We've just handed in a project which was the situation- they picked a few people for placements. Yeah our college is doing a trip to New York this year for the PrintSource trade show but I couldn't afford it as I did a month in London in the summer between first and second year. That was with a fashion surface design course; Tom Cody.
What date is your degree show this year? I've tried emailing a few universities as I'm wanting to visit a few but I haven't heard anything back from Bolton Uni.

Not 100%. Im starting to get really nervous. :) Its approaching very quickly.I hope all your work is coming along nicely. your deadlines must be soon approaching also. :(
